Building on the power of collective intelligence, international monetary experts and activists are coming together this March in Copenhagen at the Copenhagen Business School (pictured above), for two important back-to-back events: The Future of Money Conference on March 21, 2020, followed the IMMR Annual Meeting for Members, March 22-23.
THE FUTURE OF MONEY CONFERENCE
Gode Penge in Denmark and the International Movement For Money Reform (IMMR) will be hosting the Future of Money Conference on March 21, 2020. This public event will bring together experts, the IMMR community, along with other supporters to discuss and gain insights into various monetary reforms and new forms of money to collectively envision how a sustainable system could be designed. Specific themes will include:
- The Current Monetary System: How is money created in the digital age and what challenges does the current money system pose to the stability and well-being of the economy?
- Private Currencies: What are the drawbacks and benefits of private currencies? And are they legitimate alternatives to sovereign currencies?
- Sovereign Currencies: What are the drawbacks and benefits of sovereign money and Central Bank Digital Currencies?

THE 2020 IMMR ANNUAL MEETING
Following the Future of Money Conference will be the IMMR Annual Meeting on March 22-23 (with an optional social event on the 24th) is for delegates of the IMMR Member community.
This event will pick up where the conference left off and put strategies into action. This event will inspire movement, forge collaborations and influence the plan for the IMMR and delegates for the next year.
